Founded in 1969, Kirkfield United has been a cornerstone of the Lanark community football scene ever since. Over the years, thousands of children and volunteers have participated, and today, there are more than 300 players aged 5 to 18 across all genders involved in this vibrant youth football club.
Currently, Kirkfield United has established its home at the football facilities at Lanark Racecourse, after playing at various venues around the town throughout its history.

Kirkfield United is much more than a football club; our players are not just members of a team, but vital parts of our community. At our youth football club, players and volunteers support one another both on and off the pitch, fostering bonds that last a lifetime.
Kirkfield United is also at the heart of the Lanark community, actively supporting and participating in local events like Lanimers and the Illuminated Parade. In return, the club receives generous support from the local community through sponsorship and fundraising efforts.
Proud to represent Lanark, Kirkfield United always strives to make the Lanark community proud of our football club.

To provide a pathway for our players, Kirkfield United has established an affiliation with West of Scotland junior side Lanark United. This partnership will enable players to progress their careers should they choose to do so.
Like Kirkfield United, Lanark United is deeply committed to the development and progression of local players, fostering the local footballing community in the Lanark area. These shared values make this an incredibly exciting affiliation.
The dream is for Lanark United to one day field a team composed entirely of Kirkfield graduates.
Lanark United plays their home games at Moor Park, and all information, including fixtures, can be found on:
